CERN's Summer Student Programme - Application Deadline till January 31, 2020

CERN offers selected students the chance to get involved in the day-to-day work of our multicultural and multidisciplinary teams and work on interesting projects, attend first-class lectures, visit CERN facilities, take part in discussions and workshops with people who are leaders in their fields. Students who apply to the CERN’s Summer Student Programme should have completed at least 3 years of their studies and should either still be enrolled in summer or not graduate before May 2020.

Represented fields are:

  • Physics,
  • Information Technology and Engineering (Civil Engineering; Controls and Data Acquisition; Electricity; Electromechanics; Electronics; Health, Safety & Environment; Materials Science & Surface Engineering; Mechanics).

The students can choose to stay between 8 and 13 weeks (June/July – August/September) and will get a subsisitence of 90 CHF/day and health insurance coverage.
