allencell.org is live: Magdelena Schwarzl, (Bachelor Thesis with VDA at Uni Wien), worked with the Allen Institute last summer to help prototype early versions of this website by doing user studies and iterative wireframe prototyping with biologists working in the institute. She worked with the Animated Cell team, directed by Graham Johnson, in a collaboration with us at VDA. The website, described as "Your portal to the cell", has come a long way since then and is a fantastic resource for all who would like to study thousands of cells in detail.
