Prof. Gerald Quirchmayr and Dr. Thomas Schaberreiter, from the MIS research group, are working with experts from twelve countries to develop a security solution that helps local authorities, NGOs and companies to better detect and ward off attacks on IT systems.

Cyber security is one of the greatest challenges of our time

The Corona crisis in particular has clearly shown us how important a stable IT infrastructure has become for society: "This trend will continue in the future. It is therefore essential to provide the best possible protection for the IT systems on which we are all increasingly dependent.
