This involves combining concepts, principles, and techniques from information systems, software engineering, and other relevant areas within Computer Science, such as cybersecurity or data management. We are looking for an outstanding scientist in the area of Business Informatics with a particular focus on intelligent information systems, which are required for the future convergence of the digital and the physical world. Special subareas of interest include, but are not limited to: design and software development methodologies, formalization of domain-specific knowledge, explainability, model-based software aspects, trust and transparency, as well as architectures of intelligent information systems for disruptive environments. Academic profile of the candidate
- Doctoral degree/PhD
- Two years of international research experience during or after doctoral studies
- Outstanding research achievements, excellent publication and funding record, international reputation
- Experience in designing of and participating in research projects, ability to lead research groups and acquire third-party funding
- Enthusiasm for excellent teaching and supervision at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level
- Acquisition of sufficient German language skills for teaching in bachelor programs and participation in university committees within three years
