CAMYM: Context-Aware Mobility in Wireless Mesh networks
Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) build wireless connected networks for broadband home networks, community and neighborhood networks, or enterprise networks. Mesh clients are usually mobile and require mobility management techniques, e.g., to use VoIP services. Mobility management is more difficult for mesh networks due to the apparent chaotic deployment of mehs routers and the heterogeneity of the wireless cells.
In this Euro-NF joint specific research project we will include context-awareness (and context prediction) to enhance and optimize mobility management.
