Andrea Hess is a Research Assistant at the Distributed Systems Group at the University of Vienna. She is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in computer science and received her master's degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in computer science with distinction from the Vienna University of Technology in 2008. Her current research interests lie in the area of mobile wireless networking; she is particularly interested in realistic mobility modelling and prediction for opportunistic networks. Since October 2012 Andrea is a Marietta Blau Visiting Researcher at the Department of Communications and Networking of Aalto University.
